Ohio-born and Kentucky-raised, Chappy brings a powerful blend of precision, feel, and high-energy performance to the band. Known for his rock-solid pocket and dynamic versatility, he bridges rock, funk, country, and modern groove with a style that drives every song forward.
Inspired by legends like John Bonham, Todd Sucherman, Chris Layton, and Thomas Lang, Chappy blends heavy groove, technical mastery, and soulful feel into a sound that’s entirely his own. These influences shape everything from his explosive fills to his deep pocket and expressive dynamics.
Performing on a full Mapex kit with Evans drumheads, Vater drumsticks, and Sabian cymbals, Chappy delivers a signature tone that cuts through the mix with clarity and character. His stage presence, timing, and consistency make him an essential force behind the band’s live show.
